What is "MICR" (pronounced - "micker") toner and what is it used for?
MICR stands for "Magnetic Ink Character Recognition". It is a magnetic based toner used for check coding by financial institutions.
What is "yield" and how is it calculated?
Yield refers to the number of total prints per laser toner cartridge based on the industry standard of 5% page coverage. The PrintSMART cartridge has been proven to meet or exceed most major brands.

Will I get the same number of prints/copies with your PrintSMART Cartridges?
Our PrintSMART cartridges are manufactured with the right amount of toner for each cartridge, and the yields are guaranteed.
What is a "chipped" cartridge, and how does it affect the manufacturing process?
Some toner cartridges have chips that communicate information regarding the state of the cartridge such as toner low, page counts, etc. Some original manufacturers have included chips in order to make it more difficult for remanufacturers to reproduce them. The PrintSMART cartridges are equipped with reproduced chips that function up to the original manufacturers specifications.
Will using PrintSMART cartridges in my new printer void my warranty?
No. According to the Magnuson-Moss Act of 1975, original equipment manufacturer warranties cannot be voided by the use of non-OEM consumable products. However, if a non-OEM cartridge is deemed to cause the need for a printer to be repaired the warranty would not cover that specific repair. The repair would, however, be covered under the PrintSMART one-year guarantee.

I have a variety of different printers, copiers and fax machines, are PrintSMART cartridges available for all of them?
PrintSMART cartridges are available for the vast majority of popular brands.
Are PrintSMART cartridges available for my ink jet printer?
Be careful when buying ink jet cartridges that are merely "refilled". PrintSMART ink jet cartridges are totally remanufactured and fully warranted. The answer is Yes!
Are PrintSMART toner cartridges the cheapest I can buy?
No. They are carefully manufactured using the best available components, and each cartridge is thoroughly tested. The Printer Connection guarantees their performance will be equal to or better than the nationally known brands. They are an extremely good value. However, they are not "cheap" re-filled cartridges.
Do you charge for delivery?
No. Delivery is free and usually same or next day within approx 50 miles of either of our offices located in Birmingham, Alabama and Huntsville, Alabama. There is a minimum order requirement of $50.00 for this service.
